Project overview
The COVID-19 pandemic changed a lot about how we live, including how we care for pets. Pets became a huge source of comfort during tough times, which sparked major growth in the pet industry. But without the right knowledge and habits, both pets and owners can miss out on that true happiness. Furry Soulmate is built to solve this by helping users track their pets’ info, set daily goals, and build healthy habits, without feeling overwhelmed.
Research
Since the pandemic started, pet ownership grew by about 18%, especially among people aged 18-24 spending more time at home.
Benchmarking
We looked at competitors to see what features they offered and found there wasn’t a solid app that lets pet owners freely track notes and stay motivated with helpful tools.
Interview
To understand our audience better, we surveyed young pet owners, long-time pet owners, and those who’ve used similar apps. Here are the main insights from that survey:
Execution
The challenge was packing a lot of information into the brochure while keeping it visually balanced and detailed. To help organize the content, we used gold as a highlight color to make key points stand out and differentiate them from the rest.
